Opportunities for Publication
There are several opportunities for you to submit your presentation
for discussion or publication. Here they are:
a) Submit any of your presentation materials (Powerpoint, word docs,
etc) to Kristen DeVoe, Kristen will post this onto our Virtual Conference
website so that it is accessible to all attendees. This software also lets
you have discussions around your specific topic. This is a good way to
learn what was discussed at a presentation you could not attend or to
continue a discussion that was begun during the session.
b) Ramune Kubilius is collecting names of reporters for the various
conference sessions. These reports will be published in Against the Grain
either online or in the printed issue over the course of 2008.
c) Proceedings of the Conference will be published in printed book form.
You will be contacted by Beth Bernhardt regarding due dates. We encourage
all speakers to submit their papers to the proceedings.
d) The Charleston Conference is also partnering with E-LIS, the
international open archive for library and information science, to
preserve and more widely disseminate the conference papers in
digital form. If you are interested, send your presentation to E-LIS
for permanent indexing and archiving, please forward it to
Beth Bernhardt.

Conference Evaluations
Please encourage people attending your session to complete a conference evaluation. All sessions, both plenary and concurrent, are listed on a single evaluation this year. Compiled results will be distributed to speakers in December.
More information regarding the evaluations can be found in our program book. |
